Stop to visit the small village of Caldas de Monchique, known for its famous thermal springs, recognized since Roman times for their healing properties. Arrive at Foia, the highest point in the Algarve, at 902 meters above sea level, offering stunning views, and enjoy a tasting of the region’s typical liqueurs while admiring the scenery. Stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant in the Monchique Mountains, where a classic Algarvian meal will be served.
Visit Lagos, a city historically connected to the sea, where the Portuguese Age of Discoveries began in the 15th century. After leaving Lagos, travel to the southwesternmost point of Europe and stop at Ponta da Piedade, famous for its rock formations and panoramic views.
End the tour in Sagres, also known as the “End of the World,” where the sun sets behind the endless ocean, offering the most breathtaking sunset from the top of the cliffs.
